Congratulations to the graduating veterinary class of 2014!  We are proud to have already worked with a lot of you and look forward to helping you throughout your career.

Veterinary students in their last 2 years of school are eligible to purchase up to $2000/month benefit without any proof of income.

Veterinarians in their first 2 years of practice may purchase up to $4000/month regardless of income.

Set for Life Insurance has discounts at most veterinary schools around the country. If you are a veterinary student at a Set for Life Insurance hospital, you need to submit your application prior to graduation day to secure the discount. Once the discount is on the policy, it is permanent and you may increase the policy by simply providing income verification and no more medical questions asked! If you don’t see your hospital listed on the list, it doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist! Please contact Set for Life Insurance for details.

Companies will distinguish veterinarians between small animal and large animal specialists. If you have not yet declared a specialty, you may qualify for the small animal occupational class which is significantly less expensive than for large animal specialists.

Make sure your policy covers you in your occupation and pays benefits if you can’t work as a veterinarian even if you can work in another occupation.
